Affordable Housing Design Competition Yields 25 Designs That Are Easy On The Eyes & The Pocket

We just got word that the Southern California chapter of Habitat for Humanity has hosted with the the Insitute of Classical Architecture , a design competition and the winners are going to be announced on July 16th at the West Hollywood Waterworks store. Architects, interior designers & landscapers from all over the country took to their drawing pads and have submitted their designs for a single family home that is sustainable,

reflective of Southern California’s rich architectural history, easily built and most importantly – affordable. The winning designs are scheduled to be published in a guidebook for use by Habitat for Humanity affiliates in Southern California, so look for these homes to jump off the pages and take to the streets.
