Sequestering carbon has been the most popular method of dealing with carbon dioxide emissions. But now companies like Green Carbon out of British Columbia, have demonstrated a way to turn CO2 back into it's separate forms, carbon and oxygen. They call it recycling carbon, and it's loads cheaper than burying it, about $70 per metric ton in savings. Both the economics and the technology are equally interesting. There is an advantage of being able to still have access to the carbon and an ability to control it, which aren't available when burying it.
