Child Proofing Locks Our daughter just turned one this spring and she’s finally walking and extremely curious. You screw the magnetic latch to the door with the included mounting pattern. Then you screw the latch receiver to the door stile. When you close the door the latch catches the latch receiver and locks the door securely.
