From J. Mayer H. , a team of talented architects from Berlin, comes this lofty office building located in Hamburg, Germany, currently dominating the part of the city where it is placed. The first thing that strikes you is its original exterior design, with unusual windows and doors. The park around the building seems to follow the “oval” theme of the structure. The pictures display a simple, white and elegant interior design which is about to get crowdy once the workers will fill the place, no doubt. Just to have an idea about the size of the project, it was spread on a surface of 5,436 sqm. An Architect?s Island Home: The Clingstone House

In 1961, the Boston Architect Henry Wood purchased this amazing island mansion with his wife for only $3,600 on Rhode Island?s Narragansett Bay. Today, the Clingstone House (designed by J.S. Lovering Wharton with artist William Trost Richards) is a warm all-wood home with a 360-degree view of the ocean. Three stories tall, the Clingstone House has a large center hall, ten bedrooms and total of twenty-three rooms total. It would be hard to find a deal like this on today?s market for that little money, despite the fact that the salt and water-wear from the surrounding ocean on the oak beams would make maintenance of this spectacular mansion ridiculously expensive. But hey, you do what you have to do to live in your own version of paradise! This lovely project comes from LOGOS and is a part of their Cooking & Living Series. The challenge was to build a living area for a young lady who wanted a roomy, comfortable apartment. Also, she is not into cooking very much, which is why she wanted a kitchen that would occupy very little space. The result was this cooking place hidden behind orange doors. Not only is this an original design, but the perfect fit in the overall bigger picture is something to take note of. The “locker” has all the utilities a large kitchen is equipped with even though it can easily be mistaken for a normal bedroom furniture item. This place is definitely not for those who have a water phobia or who mind seeing a few boats swinging near by when looking out the window. Located in Lake Union, Seattle, this floating residence is a display of tasteful interior and exterior design. Its room structure was designed so that all the private areas like bedrooms and bathrooms be placed on the ground floor in order for the second story to be dedicated to one large entertainment room. Sliding doors reveal an outdoor terrace for relaxing and enjoying the views. The masterminds behind this project were Vandeventer + Carlander Architects from Seattle, USA. Bates Masi Architects is a company located in Long Island whose portfolio includes school, houses, offices and furniture. They say they are not interested in the size or type of their upcoming projects, but rather in? “the opportunity to enrich lives and enhance the environment”. This particular house was elaborated for a couple with a growing family. It has two floors and spacious rooms with high quality interior design. Casa Sao Francisco is a project belonging to Andrea Vivas created for MG Studio. The place is a mix of modern and classic and each room is individualized. Lot 18, A Fresh And Modern Residence

Lot 18 is a residential project design by Arkitek Axis , a company founded in 1989 who’s slogan is “less is more”. Their aim is to “give their client’s project a value for money, and at the same time create a concept identity in which both the clients and the company can be proud of”. Perhaps this goal is what also led to creating this ostentatious house deign and what made it a successful project. The building is shaped like the letter “U” and most of the rooms have a view towards the pool, which is located in the middle. It has three levels, spacious, opulent bedrooms and bathrooms and a dining room which is connected to the pool through sliding doors.
