The House on Red Hill knows that a little paint and ingenuity can go a long way towards taking something from trash to treasure. The DIY’ers start with a battered thrift store desk and, after some repairs, a coat of paint, new hardware, and (can you believe it?) a two dollar placemat , they have an awesome updated piece of furniture.
